Interim Minister’s Farewell Message

Dear Paint Branch friends,

It has been a privilege to serve as your minister. I have felt the love you have for your church and I am grateful for all the ways you have shared that love with me. It has been a brief, but important time in the life of your congregation. I have felt you growing deeper and more confident as the weeks went by. Each of you are leaders and seekers. Each of you want the best for your Beloved church. It has been a good match.

On July 18th I will say goodbye and I will bring a word from Rev. Ann, your developmental minister, who begins August 1st. The transition of ministers is a key moment, and Ann and I are preparing a celebratory “Zoom Hand-off!” Thank you to all who faithfully attended worship. I felt your presence. Thank you to all who played with the children. Thank you to your amazing board and all the wonderful volunteers. You are my first Interim Ministry assignment, you have taught me a lot. I am deeply grateful for the trust you extended so readily.

Continue to cherish one another as you welcome visitors, new members, new challenges, new joys.

Many Blessings,
Reverend Lynn
