Memorial Services
When a Loved One Has Died….
Members and friends of Paint Branch may choose to use our rental facility and/or our minister for their memorial service. Unitarian Universalist memorial services are celebrations of the life of the person who has died. They tend to feel intimate even if many people attend. They may include music, readings, and speakers suggested by the family or requested by the deceased if he or she made known their wishes, all woven into a service that honors the person’s life.
How Do I Get Started?
PBUUC members should contact the minister directly.
What are the fees?
For PBUUC members, there will be no fee for the Minister’s services or for the use of our space for a ceremony and simple punch-and-cookies reception that will be provided by other members through our We Care Network. For non-members the Minister’s fee will be $250. If there is an additional fee charged by our rental hosts, this will be an additional cost.
