Community Place Café
Since 1989, PBUUC has been one of the churches serving food to the neediest members of our community one day per month at the Community Place Café. Based out of the Hyattsville First Methodist Church, the Café serves mainly homeless people and day laborers.
PBUUC's turn to serve lunch is the fourth Tuesday of every month. (Other congregations in the Community Ministry of Prince George's County take turns on other weekdays.) The menu consists of hot chili on a bun, pineapple chunks, cookies and a cold drink.
