Who ever said fundraisers had to be boring? Some of our most enjoyable community events raise a significant amount of money for PBUUC. Among them are our Annual Community Auction, held each November, and our Church-wide Dinners, held two or three times each year. These occasions are a time for fellowship, music, food and fun.
Once a month, the Social Action Committee takes a special collection to benefit worthy causes in the larger community.
Several times over our congregation's history, PBUUC has conducted "capital campaigns" to raise funds for a certain large project, such as the geothermal heating/cooling system in the Religious Exploration Building or the refurbishment of our 100-year-old grand piano. The Board of Trustees authorizes such campaigns as they are needed.
