RE Summer Fun
***This article expired on Sep 2, 2012. It is maintained here for archival purposes.***
Summer Fun runs from June 24-September 2. Activities are creative and interactive, and include a small period of worship or a UU-related story time. Summer Fun is generally most suitable for children ages 5-10. Some of our upcoming activities include miniture boat-making, fairy folk and wand-making, Shrinky-Dinks, pinwheels, recycled robots, nature walks and games!
Families begin in the Meeting House and Summer Fun leaves during the Sing-Away Song to meet in the foyer. Children return to the RE Building (Kelley Room) for snack. Parents are asked to pick them up promptly at the beginning of coffee hour.
Have a talent or hobby to share? We can use more volunteers to lead an activity in conjunction with another RE volunteer. Please see the sign-up in the foyer at the RE table, or email the Director of Religious Exploration at firstname.lastname@example.org.
