Religious Exploration Teachers & Assistants
Help raise the next generation of Unitarian Universalists by volunteering in our Religious Exploration (RE) Program as a teacher, classroom assistant or youth advisor. You don't need to be a parent of a child in our programs -- indeed, some of our most dedicated volunteers are people who do not have children, and people whose own kids have grown up.
At least two adults must be present in the classroom at all times. Teachers and assistants serve on a rotating schedule so that they all get a chance to attend adult services regularly.
If you can't commit to teaching on a regular basis, please consider becoming a substitute teacher or simply volunteering to share your talents with our youth on a single project. If you have a passion for drama, handcrafts, music, nature or storytelling, we'll find a spot in our classrooms for you.
