Human beings frequently make assumptions and judgments about others, categorizing them into groups. The consequences of these actions can be severe. Over millennia, these methods have been refined and continue to be widespread today. People of the Heart, who are compassionate, must actively resist the impulse to make quick assumptions and judgments that create division between “us” and “them.” On Sunday, October 19th, we will explore the reasons behind why we put each other in boxes and discuss how we can change this behavior.
