The Diversity Antiracism Transformation Team Bookread group discusses books that explore racism and oppressions in America. Conversations often center on understanding how peaceful and justice-filled communities are denied for many, but could be achieved. Members will share reflections of the human rights activist, Malcolm X, as revealed in The Dead Are Arising: The Life of Malcolm X by Les Payne and Tamara Payne.
