In any life, there are thresholds – moments when we choose whether to let go of key aspects of the past and enter into something new and different. Each threshold is an uncertain and challenging place, where it can be helpful to pause, look around, remember and imagine. At this threshold in the life of this church and its people, we pause today to consider where we’ve been, and how the past might inform what comes next.
