The Pastoral Care Associates are members who help meet the pastoral care needs of the congregation, with training and direction by the minister. They call or visit at home or in the hospital when church members are sick, bereaved or struggling with a life issue; and usually lead the Meditation on Joys and Sorrows in the Sunday service.
