Dear PBUUC Members and Friends,

Our beautiful property on Powder Mill Road, that brought us many years of memory-making, is now in the hands of a new owner who will bring it new life and love. Settlement took place on Friday, January 26, and the purchase price was $2.8 million. The purchaser is First Hijrah Foundation, an Ethiopian Muslim community. We wish them all the best in their new home. First Hijrah are assuming the lease for Silver Oaks Cooperative School until that lease expires in June at which time, SOCS will move to the new location they obtained. Many people worked hard to make this possible and we are grateful to all of them.
