Stewardship Socializing Saturdays with Fun Faith Engagement Coming Up!

Yes, the Campaign is underway!  Your Visiting Steward will be contacting you sometime after the Town Hall Meeting on Sunday 2/20. It can be an opportunity to reflect on our church priorities, challenges, progress, and how we can help through our Stewardship.  We Are All In This Together!

Be sure to attend the Commitment Sunday Worship Service on February 27 featuring Rev. Ann Kadlecek, our Director of Faith Engagement, Chris McCann and The Chalice Dancers. After the service, members of the Stewardship Committee and of the Board of Trustees will remain in the main room to answer questions.

Please plan to attend our Parking Lot Pledge events, now renamed Stewardship Socializing Saturdays with Fun Faith Engagement on these dates:

  • Saturday, March 12 from 1 pm – 3 pm (cancelled)
  • Saturday, March 19 from 1 pm – 3 pm
  • Saturday, March 26 from 1 pm – 3 pm (cancelled)
  • Saturday April 2 from 1 pm – 3 pm – (weather permitting)

Stewardship Socializing Saturdays with Fun Faith Engagement will include:

  • Stewardship:  Complete your pledge cards on the spot, if you haven’t already done so.
  • Stewardship of Community: Bring your donations of canned food (meats are especially needed), soups, stable vegetables and fruits, healthy snacks and personal care items in travel or regular sizes of shampoo, lotion, soap, deodorant.
  • Stewardship of Each Other: Artful decorating of cards to be sent by We Care.
  • Stewardship of Nature: Making pine cone bird-feeders.
  • Stewardship of Ourselves: Fun! A table of puzzles.
  • Stewardship of Our Space: A field trip to the bridge.
  • Stewardship of Our Relationships: It is a joy to be together! Out of respect and care for each other and the wider community, we mask and maintain safe distances as we enjoy connecting with each other and eating some nutritious and indulgent snacks.
  • Stewardship of Our Church: Remember to complete your pledge card and give it to a Visiting Steward before leaving the parking lot!   

Please take some time to review the Stewardship letter and flyer sent to you in the mail last week and consider whether you can increase your pledge for the fiscal year that begins on July 1, 2022. Feel free to contact the Stewardship Committee at Stewardship@pbuuc.org.
