After the Autumnal Equinox, cultures in the Northern Hemisphere deeply felt the waning of Summer and the coming of Winter. Taking inspiration from nature, Celtic, Slavic and Germanic cultures recognized this time of year as the turning of a new year, a time to reflect on what was lost and what would come. We consider honoring our Ancestors and anticipating our Descendants through celebrations of Samhain, All Souls Day, All Hallow`s Eve and Halloween.
