Our congregation is known for its hospitality and the ushers help make it happen with their friendly welcome as people arrive for worship services. Ushers help prepare the space for worship, collect visitor information, distribute name tags and hymnals and orders of service, count the weekly attendance, and assist people who may need a little extra help.

The ushers also pass the collection baskets during the offertory, complete the weekly collection count, and otherwise assist in the service as requested by the worship leader. Finally, the ushers are also responsible for opening and closing the building on Sundays and for other events and activities at the church.
